    STEH (Strategies to End Homelessness) has posted the Emergency Housing Voucher public assessment on our website. You can find the link here

    Below is the list for your reference, along with specific details on how each priority will be assessed and connected to the voucher application process. (Priority 3 will be assessed and connected before Priority 4 and so on). That assessment is ONLY who may meet criteria for Priorities 3-5.

    Priority 3:

    Individuals and families who are at risk or at imminent risk of homelessness.
    Individuals and families who believe they meet the criteria for at risk or imminent risk should complete the Emergency Housing Assessment found on STEH’s website. STEH will notify any selected applicants via email and/or phone to start the process of confirming eligibility.

    Priority 4:

    Individuals or families who are fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking or human trafficking
    Individuals and families who are fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence should complete the Emergency Housing Assessment found on STEH’s website. STEH will notify any selected applicants via email and/or phone to start the process of confirming eligibility.

    Priority 5:

    All other eligible individuals and families (see eligibility guidelines below)
    Individuals and families who believe they meet any other eligible criteria should complete the Emergency Housing Assessment found on STEH’s website. STEH will notify any selected applicants via email and/or phone to start the process of confirming eligibility.


    Emergency Housing Voucher Eligibility

    For all members of the household:

    Previous participation in subsidized housing
    • No fraud, bribery, or other corrupt or criminal acts in connection with public housing program within the past 12 months

    Legal History
    • No convictions of manufacturing or producing methamphetamine on the premises of federally assisted housing at any time in any state
    • Must not be required to lifetime registration as a sex offender
    • No convictions for violent criminal charges in the past 12 months

    Income Guidelines
    Must be below 50% of median area income

    Required Documentation
    • Picture ID
    • Social security card
    • Birth certificate
    • Income verification (if applicable)
    • Bank statement (if applicable)
    • Background check-all adults 18+
